OSTEOPATHY

Your first consultation will take about 1 hour. During this time the practitioner will ask about your current ailment and state of health, as well as a detailed medical history.

You will generally be asked to remove some of your clothing so that a detailed functional and structural assessment can be made. This includes a static evaluation and simple mobility, testing to assess how your whole body relates mechanically to your ailment. The osteopath is then likely to focus the examination in the region which appears to be causing the problem.
