Scar massage/treatment
Scar massage is not a typical therapy but rather focused on old or new scars that can be causing mobility restrictions and pain. Scars can create postural problems as they heal and direct massage may help release the adhesions, numbness and pulling sensations that often accompany them. Adrianna Holman has used scar massage with post operative patients at London Bridge Hospital for ten years.
